Our Spotlight film for June is a nail-biting thriller from acclaimed director Cate Shortland (Lore, Sommersault) based on the novel by Melanie Joosten and taking place in a seductive Berlin setting.

While holidaying in Berlin, Australian photojournalist Clare meets charismatic local man Andi. There is an instant attraction between them, and a night of passion ensues. But what initially appears to be the start of a romance suddenly takes an unexpected and sinister turn.

Shortland skilfully directs this dark, nerve-shredding thriller, with two vivid central performances for her leads.
