Northern Stars Documentary Academy

This intensive introduction to documentary filmmaking allows participants to focus on learning new skills, meet industry professionals, and work together to plan, shoot and edit a short film that is showcased at Tyneside Cinema. Documentary Academy is sponsored by Intu.

Documentary Academy takes place between September and December. It is open to anyone aged 15-18 and is free.

Visit the Northern Stars Documentary Academy website for more information or check out some of the films we've made at Documentary Academy below.
