Star in your own music video

In this workshop your group will plan, shoot, star in and edit a section of a famous (or not so famous) music video, guided through the whole process by our team of professional filmmakers.

Our Music Video workshop can be used to produce evaluation materials but also just as a fun class exercise to be introduced to the full range of film skills – development and planning, camerawork, sound recording, performing and editing.

This practical production workshop sees students working in small groups to plan, shoot and edit a music video. Students will explore the conventions of the medium, including representations of the artist, the use of narrative, symbolism and visual style.
