Vita & Virginia

A biographical drama based on the passionate relationship between writer Virginia Woolf and aristocratic socialite Vita Sackville West (Elizabeth Debicki and Gemma Arterton).

Adapted from the 1992 play of the same name by Eileen Atkins, the story is based on their letters throughout the 1920s and 30s. This tumultuous, queer love affair is set against the backdrop of the Bloomsbury set, and two unhappy marriages.
