Varda by Agnès

Agnès Varda, lived 30 May 1928 - 29 March 2019

Agnès Varda, photographer, installation artist and pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague, was an institution of French cinema.

Varda by Agnés is an unpredictable documentary from a fascinating storyteller, this was Varda's final film before her passing on 29 March 2019, in which she sheds light on her experience as a director, bringing a personal insight to what she calls "cine-writing," travelling from Rue Daguerre in Paris to Los Angeles and Beijing.
