From Zambian-born Welsh director Rungano Nyoni comes this strikingly original debut feature film that satirises the ancient beliefs of modern Zambia.
The film sees an eight-year-old girl accused of witchcraft and exiled to a witch camp in the middle of a desert.
The film is supported by Cannes’ Cinefondation Residency and with this marking Rungano Nyoni out as a major new talent, we can look forward to seeing some more fascinating films from her in the years to come.
