Harriet Plewis: Part #2 Film Screening + Deep Listening

The Gallery at Tyneside Cinema will become an informal viewing-and-moving-space; a living room in which audiences are invited to watch films, lie down and listen close for a programme of film screenings, group visualisation and listening activities, and live performance.

Selected as part of the Projections open call.

PART 2: 2 - 4.30pm

A screening of Reading Room: Thursday and a ‘Deep Listening’ hour lead to The Otolith Group’s The Third Part of the Third Measure, a film based on transcriptions of a statement given by Julius Eastman, a queer African-American avant-garde composer of the 1970s and 1980s East Coast new music scene.

This workshop and film screening session features as part of a day long programme of activity for Harriet Plewis: Loving Attention. If you wish to attend the whole day please purchase a day ticket HERE.
