TC80: David's Cinema Memory

Posted in Film on Aug 21, 2017

David tells us about trips to Tyneside Cinema with his sons, including an emotional screening of I, Daniel Blake.

Got your own Cinema Memory?

As part of Tyneside Cinema's 80th Anniversary celebrations, we want you to help us tell 'A People's History Of Cinema' by sharing your cinema-going stories and memories.

This is the story of cinema as told by you so we are looking for any stories that you want to share with us. These could be funny, tragic, romantic, or inspirational. They could be about our history; they could be about seeing extraordinary films from around the world; or they could be about the experience of coming to a place to watch films with friends, family, and fellow film-lovers. Whatever the story is, we are interested in hearing it.

We will be sharing these stories throughout the year and creating a special documentary film that will premiere at the end of the year, so please do leave your details in case we need to get in touch about using your story as part of this project.

You can also share a Cinema Memory on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page by tagging @tynesidecinema and using #MyCinemaMemories.
