How to buy tickets
Online: Buy your cinema tickets online by following this link!

In person: You can buy tickets in person in advance at our Box Office on the ground floor, and at The Tyneside Bar on the third floor before screenings. Ticket sales are available between 10.00am-9.00pm Monday to Saturday and 11.00am-9.00pm Sunday.

The Classic Cinema Circle
Allocated seating is available when you book in the Classic Circle – grab your favourite spot each time you come to see a movie!

*Daytime prices apply to screenings before 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and before 2.00pm, Saturday and Sunday. Evening ticket prices apply to screenings after 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and after 2.00pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Classic Cinema – wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access to The Classic screen is in the Circle only but you can buy Circle tickets at the standard ticket rate for that screening. If you need to be accompanied by a companion to assist you, they will be admitted for free.

School groups
£3.50 per student when groups of ten or more students are booked in advance. Teachers get one free ticket for every ten booked.
Under 25s Card
Aged between 19-25? Sign up today for a FREE under 25s card and you will get to see films at the Tyneside for just £6.00 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Visit the Box Office for details.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are Student discount days
Holders of an NUS card can buy tickets for just £4.00 every Monday-Wednesday. Just show us your NUS card when you buy your ticket. Excludes special events and Classic Circle.
Super Tuesdays
Every Tuesday tickets to screenings starting before 5.00pm in our cinemas are just £3.75 each and seats in the Classic Circle half price.
Become a Friend and Save ££££s on your cinema tickets each year
Friends of the Tyneside get 75p off each ticket (£1.00 in The Classic Circle).
Tickets for Job Seekers and those receiving Incapacity Benefit are now just £1.00
If you’re the holder of an ES40, or receive Income Support or Incapacity Benefit, please show us your ES40 card or letter of confirmation of receipt of benefits and you can see movies at the Tyneside every weekday before 5.00pm for just £1.00 (excludes special events and Classic Circle). Please note that this ticket price does not include special events or seats in The Classic Circle.
°Concession qualification
Discounts apply to: those receiving income support; people in full-time education; senior citizens; disabled people; and City Card holders.
Film Classification
Universal. Suitable for everyone.
General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for some children.
No-one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
No-one younger than 15 may see a 15 film in a cinema.
No-one younger than 18 may see a 18 film in a cinema.
The small print
Ticket offers are subject to availability, only one discount is available on any ticket at any time, reservations must be paid for in advance at point of booking. A booking fee of £1.20 per transaction will be made for online purchases.
