The Silver Web is a programme of 16 workshops to help older people connect and share online. Do you feel flummoxed by Flickr? Confused by Skype ? Do you have loved ones you want to stay connected with, or photos to share, but aren't sure how to do it?
The Silver Web consists of two 2-hour sessions a week where you can drop in and bring your ideas and questions about using the internet and discover and explore the online world.
You can sign-up to attend sessions on either Mondays or Thursdays, and you can come to as few or as many as you like. Basic computer skills are required, but there really are no boundaries – and the content for each session is designed by you, so come along with all your questions. There’s even free tea and coffee!
Entry: Free. Places are very limited so booking is essential.
