Since January the Tyneside has played host to over sixty different workshops, events and activities, all with the purpose of giving you the opportunity to learn something new and different, whilst having some fun along the way.
So far, a cohort of over 60s has been introduced to the delights of the internet in our free Silver Web sessions, GPS enthusiasts have been taking part in treasure hunting for the twenty first century with Geocaching, our bi-monthly Writers’ Club has gathered plenty of momentum and language enthusiasts have been enjoying foreign films with a chance to mingle, speak some lingo (no matter how experienced) and taste local foods at our Language Cafés.
These great events will all continue up to the end of March, and that’s not all, there’s so much more to come! Take a look, and act fast to avoid disappointment: at the time of printing there were only a few spaces left on the listed events!
Sign up or buy tickets for these events by calling the Tyneside Cinema Box Office. Some events are free and all are accessibly priced. Places are limited for some of these events so booking is essential.
